    IUI procedure (intrauterine insemination)

    Price from: 350€

    • Treatment protocol
    • Electronic identification – RI Witnessing
    • Preparation of partner’s or donor’s sperm in the lab
    • IUI procedure (intrauterine insemination)

Additional costs: consultations, ultrasound examinations, laboratory tests, donor sperm, coordination fee for patients living abroad.

Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is one of the simplest fertility treatment methods. During the procedure, sperm is placed directly into the uterus at the time of ovulation to increase the chances of conception.

The procedure is especially suitable for those with milder or unexplained causes of infertility. For example:

    • Couples with mildly reduced sperm quality (e.g., low motility or a lower sperm count).

    • Women with cervical mucus-related issues that hinder sperm from reaching the uterus.

    • Young couples who have had difficulty conceiving for some time, but no clear cause of infertility has been identified.

    • Single women who wish to conceive using donor sperm.

    • Men diagnosed with azoospermia who wish to use donor sperm.

    • Cases where the male partner has a genetic disorder that cannot be avoided through embryo diagnostics and the use of donor sperm is recommended.

    In vitro fertilisation

    Price from: 2750 €

      • Creation of the treatment plan
      • Consultation with IVF nurse
      • Interpretation of analyses
      • Electronic identification RI Witnessing

      • Embryo cultivation in EmbryoScope incubator
      • Embryo evaluation with AI program CHLOE
      • Culturing to Day 6 (blastocyst stage)
      • Embryo transfer in EmbryoGlue media

Additional fees: visits, ultrasound scans, drugs, ICSI, embryo freezing and storage, coordination fee for a patients living abroad.

IVF, or in vitro fertilization, is one of the most common and effective infertility treatment methods worldwide. During this procedure, egg cells are fertilized in a laboratory setting. The procedure requires hormonal stimulation of the ovaries, aiming to grow multiple mature egg cells. Their maturation is monitored using ultrasound examinations, and at the appropriate time, the egg cells are collected from the ovaries. These are then fertilized either using the classic IVF method or the ICSI method, where a single sperm cell is injected directly into the egg cell.

After fertilization, the embryos are cultivated in an EmbryoScope incubator, which allows their development to be monitored around the clock. The most suitable embryo or embryos are then transferred into the uterus. The success of IVF is individual and depends on several factors, such as the cause of infertility, the woman’s age, and overall health status.

On average, approximately 30% of procedures are successful per treatment cycle.

The IVF method is indicated in the following cases:

    • Severe blockage or complete occlusion of the fallopian tubes, which prevents the natural meeting of the egg and sperm.

    • Significant deviations in sperm quality, including low count, poor motility, or morphological changes.

    • In cases where testicular sperm (TESE) is used, requiring the application of the ICSI method.

    • Repeated unsuccessful IUI procedures, despite which pregnancy has not been achieved.

    • In the presence of hereditary genetic diseases, for which embryo diagnostics (PGT) are indicated before transfer.

    • When using previously frozen eggs for fertility preservation purposes (e.g., for medical or personal reasons).

    • Other cases where simpler infertility treatment methods have not yielded results or where IVF is medically appropriate.

    IVF with donor eggs

    Price from: 6450€

    • Treatment plan preparation
    • Consultation with IVF nurse
    • Interpretation of test results
    • Electronic identification with RI Witnessing

    • Laboratory procedures
    • In vitro fertilization IVF (ICSI additional fee 700 EUR)
    • Embryo cultivation in EmbryoScope incubator
    • Embryo evaluation using AI program CHLOE
    • Blastocyst cultivation
    • Embryo transfer in EmbryoGlu medium

Additional fees: consultations, ultrasound examinations, medications, ICSI, embryo freezing and storage, coordination fee for patients living abroad.

The use of donor oocytes is indicated when a woman has a very low chance of conception with her own oocytes due to very low reserve or age-related barriers. IVF with donor eggs involves fertilisation and embryo cultivation of donor eggs in the laboratory, with the developing embryo being transferred into the womb of the intended mother.

This procedure is indicated for the following reasons:

    • Women who have a reduced number or quality of their own eggs. In general, all women >43 years of age.
    • Patients who have a low or no chance of conception, for example, absence of ovaries or follicles.
    • Early premature or early ovarian failure.
    • Repeat failure of IVF methods.
    • Women with an inherited genetic disorder, which cannot be prevented by preimplantation genetic testing (PGT).
    • Other reasons.

    Maintaining fertility

    Price from: 1690€

    • Electronic identification RI Witnessing
    • Ovarian puncture under anesthesia
    • Egg freezing
    • Cryopreservation in Next Fertility Nordic biobank included in the price (2 months)

Price does not include: visits, ultrasound examinations, analyses, medications, later storage fees.

Fertility preservation, or egg freezing, is recommended for women who wish to postpone their family planning. If natural conception is not possible later in life, previously frozen eggs can be used and fertilized under in vitro conditions (IVF).

Egg freezing does not guarantee the birth of a child, but using eggs frozen at a younger age significantly increases the likelihood of treatment success and the chance of having a healthy child in later infertility treatment.

This procedure is indicated in the following cases:

    • For women who wish to postpone motherhood for health, personal, or professional reasons.

    • For women who plan to become mothers after **40 years of age.**

    • For women who do not have a suitable partner but wish to become mothers in the future.

    • In cases of low ovarian reserve or for women diagnosed with endometriosis, which may affect the number and quality of egg cells.

    • In cases of oncological diseases, before starting radiation or chemotherapy, as treatment may damage egg quality.

    Frequently Asked Questions

It’s advisable to consult an infertility specialist if you haven’t been able to conceive after 1 year of regular, unprotected sexual intercourse. From the age of 35, it’s recommended to start infertility treatment procedures after just 6 months.

Before starting infertility treatment, both partners undergo thorough examinations to find out the possible reasons why conception has not been successful so far. This usually includes:

    For women:

    • Hormonal blood tests (e.g., AMH, FSH, LH, estradiol)

    • Ultrasound examination to assess ovaries and uterus

    • If necessary, fallopian tube patency check (e.g., HSG or HyCoSy)

    • Gynecological examination

    • Tests for sexually transmitted diseases (e.g., chlamydia)

    For men:

    • Semen analysis

    • Blood tests (hormonal and STI tests, if necessary)

Sometimes, genetic studies may also be added depending on the individual situation.

The duration of infertility treatment depends on the chosen treatment method and individual response to treatment. For example:

    • IVF (in vitro fertilization): From the initial consultation to embryo transfer, it takes approximately 4–6 weeks.

    • IUI (intrauterine insemination): Can occur within 1 month, depending on the cycle.

    • If donor cells are used or additional tests are performed, the process might be slightly longer.

If the first attempt isn’t successful, the next cycle can start within a few months.

Infertility treatment isn’t completely free in Estonia, but in certain cases, it’s supported by the Health Insurance Fund.

If a woman has been diagnosed with infertility and is health-insured and up to 40 years old (inclusive), the Health Insurance Fund covers infertility treatment costs—including doctor’s visits, procedures, and pregnancy detection.

    Important to know:
The initial consultation and tests to determine the cause of infertility are chargeable for all patients, even those with Health Insurance Fund coverage.
