What is kinesiotherapy?
Kinesitherapy is used to help the body recover from overuse or trauma. Kinesio tape is an air and water-permeable tape made of elastic fabric with the same elasticity as human skin. The tape stays on the skin for at least 5 (up to 14) days and can be used for washing, sauna, or swimming. Kinesio taping helps to reduce swelling and muscle pain.
Kinesiotherapy during pregnancy
During pregnancy, a woman’s body undergoes major hormonal changes, resulting in weight gain, fluid retention and changes in skin elasticity. Kinesitherapy is an effective way to relieve pelvic and lower back pain caused by pregnancy, as well as tightness in the lower abdomen.
