Blast2 guarantee
The aim of the Blast2 package is to guarantee the patient two blastocysts for transplantation or a clinical pregnancy in the case of a single blastocyst transplant.
- The package includes blastocyst creation from donor egg cells and partner/donor sperm cells.
- Developed blastocysts are frozen on day 5 or 6 of development.
- Once the blastocysts have been frozen, the patient is started on preparatory treatment for frozen embryo transfer (FET).
- The fee for the Blast2 package is €8000 (€4000 for a patient with health insurance).
Blast2 package price includes
- Consultation with donor coordinator/experience advisor
- Consultation with an embryologist/ biobank manager
- Oocyte donor selection, counselling, health checks and tests including chromosomal screening and genetic testing of the donor donor.
- Oocyte donor medication
- Donor oocytes from the Next Fertility Nordic clinic biobank (frozen or fresh)
- Preparation of sperm for in vitro fertilisation (if necessary MAR test)
- In vitro fertilisation by IVF or ICSI (as decided by the laboratory)
- Electronic Identity and Accessory Identification System (RI Witness)
- Culturing embryos in a camera-equipped time-lapse incubator (EmbryoScope)
- Embryo evaluation and selection using artificial intelligence (CHLOE)
- Summary of the treatment cycle with video of the embryos
- Embryo freezing (vitrification) and storage for 2 months in the Next Fertility Nordic biobank.
- One frozen embryo transfer (FET) procedure using EmbryoGlue solution.
- Coordination of the treatment cycle
Not included
- Doctor’s visits/online consultations, ultrasound examinations, analyses (except for Health Insurance patients)
- Donor sperm cells (anonymous) from Next Fertility Nordic biobank (400 €)
- Ordering donor sperm cells (including Open ID) from another biobank (e.g. Cryos, ESB, Fairfax)
- Seed cell freezing (if required) (400 €)
- Longer-term storage of embryo(s) in Next Fertility Nordic biobank (1€/day from month 3)
- Pre-transplantation genetic testing of embryos, PGT-A SMART PLUS (€1200 biopsy fee + €265 per embryo tested)
- Each subsequent FET procedure with EmbryoGlue solution (€1240)
Terms and conditions of the Blast2 package
- For the guarantee to be valid, sperm parameters on the day of the procedure must meet the following conditions: >1 million motile sperm >2% with normal morphology.
- The spermatozoa have not been obtained surgically: MESENCHYME, OVARY, TEAT, OVARY
- If only one suitable blastocyst is obtained, embryo transfer (FET) will be performed.
- If after one blastocyst transfer no clinical pregnancy is detected, the IVF laboratory of Next Fertility Nordic will guarantee a new blastocyst free of charge.
- The patient should be aware that oocytes from the same egg donor may not be available and, if necessary, the patient will need to select new donor oocytes for the procedure (free of charge).
